Just returned from doing Della Falls, and met two guys that are/will do the boat shuttle for anyone going to Della Falls this year. His name is Mike, and his email address is mikewalker187@hotmail.com and phone number is 1-250-730-0772 . Don't know his prices, but he is willing to be flexable.
As for the trail as of Aug. 1/11 : Some new blowdowns, but not to many, easy to get around them. Some creeks are running, but again easy to go over them. The cable car is working. Fits two people and two packs. The upper 2 metal bridges have snow damage, one side is bent over, but still walkable over them. The "old" campsite is now reopened as parks did some falling of the danger trees. Still LOTS OF SNOW there at the old campsite but we managed to fit 7 tents in there with no problems. The trail to the falls is bare as is the upper campsite right near the falls. The trail is getting grown over with salmonberry bushes and fir branches. The water is up high due to all the snow melting, the falls are great this year !! |
