I haven't posted a trip report in a long time, but thankfully life is slowing down again a little so that I was able to get out this past weekend to at least stretch my legs again. Having Friday free, Fernando and I headed stateside to check out the Boulder River trail just east of Arlington. It's a great shoulder season trail and my only complaint for this day was that we spent too much time in the trees when I really wanted to feel the summer sunshine! All in all it was a very pleasant day in a forest of moss covered giants while hiking along the Boulder River and enjoying the waterfalls.
A forest full of stalwart, moss covered giants ..
