That is a sweet cool shot, Chris. Cool, I should have waved my hand from Jim Kelly...

Glad it all came together for you Karl.

Anderson Mountain Group: Ibex, Steinbok and Chamois. Could be Scuzzy way back.

Many thanks for the ID, Simon.

Yup Scuzzy in the distance.

The other one is looking across the Flatiron? Or part of the ridge leading to Bombtram. Not sure. Surprise, Vista and Cairn Needle behind in the distance though I think.

Everyone thank you for your kind compliments and comments.

I definitely came early for the flowers, there were several extremely tiny blooms on the snowfree Jim Kelly bench and among the rocks. A few heather were showing some flower blooms, only just starting within those bare patches.

I followed the same route; kept on thinking about those poles, zig left and zag right, looks like I am on same track as in October. Viola, found the poles besides a big rock. Glad I was able to have those poles back to you, Lynn. One left waiting for its owner, Susanne (Del Sol).

** I have a few more shots to post out of the Sony, due to memory card read issues, I will try to get a few of these added this coming weekend.

This is a great site, and glad to contribute. We all gain so much from each other in sharing info...

Awesome thanks to everyone.

I have Susanne's poles, thanks Karl. The pole that is left is a present for you. I wanted to leave you a beer but you don't drink.

Thanks Lynn, I will make good use of it. ....

Great connection between the two trips, a loss and then a find ... to reunite with the owner.

Hey KARVITK, great shots. I've tried the same hike twice, maybe i'm missing something but both times i could not find my way to the little pond/lake by Jim Kelly. I ended up on the snowfileds near Illal peak and didn't know which way to head. Do you by chance have a gps track of the hike? thanks,
