Today went for a brief walk through town to get do the short circle around Logan Lake. Yesterday saw The Eagles high up in the tree on the southern shore, but had the wrong camera (wide-angle ) when I needed zoom power.

Yesterday was a coolish day...But Mainly sunny for a short walk and view, Logan Lake had their Canada Day Celeb which was just missed.

Today was definitely a warmer day, breezy, with lots of sun.

Passed by the geese families enjoying the grass and warm day....and walked along the north side... Then I spotted the eagle in the tree across the lake, and applied maximum zoom on the old Kodak.

Walked around the eastern end... and then to the south side.

View from the trail was not clear, so I walked down to the lake shore. First normal view, then low=mid zoom, and then near maximum zoom for the final two pics.

Continued the walk... and got pics of the wildflowers:
....
You might have noticed the hovering fly by the red Indian Paint Brush flower..

Then the salmon spawning channel entering the lake..
A walker and dog in the nearby aspen grove...

These geese better beware of the eagle and watch their young..

Logan Lake has great civic pride, a pretty central walk in between the grocery store, library, post office.... and the pub, motel, and local cafeteries. Hanging baskets full of flowers should earn first prize... I zoomed in on some of the beauty.
...

A walk down the road, and found a group of large mushrooms. This one I do not know, perhaps someone can identify..

Enjoy...

Thank you for your compliments Kanike and Susanne. Getting the eagle shot was luck, since this I never saw eagles at Logan Lake prior to Saturday. Amazing how long they perch, wonder if they were not eyeing the young geese.
