Has anybody ever had the message pop up saying "Image uploader has encountered a problem. If you see this message contact web master." while trying to upload their pics?
I've put pics up on here before and not had any trouble, so just wondering if anyone else has experianced this and if so if they had any insight towards fixing it..? Thanks for any help!

It happens from time to time. Just PM or E-mail Longshadow and he'll fix it whenever he can get to it.

Odd, usually that's because of space on one of the drives but not this time... Let me know if it persists and perhaps send me the photo you're trying and I can investigate.

If you could provide some info it may help us a bit more..
Does this happen with just one photo ? and type of photo JPG ? etc
Will the CT uploaded eventually upload it after multiple tries ?

Windows version you are using..
When I upgraded to windows 7 some of the features in the CT uploaded stopped working. I think preview or something.

As well browser you are using

Size of photos you are attempting to upload.

Computer processor/ram

Sorry, I had not recieved notification of the replies after The Shadow had.
The images I'm trying to load are JPEG and all around 3MB. I've never done anything to them in the past to up-load, they've just worked. After repeated tries, I still havn't had any luck. The uploader goes through the whole process, and it's almost as if during the finalization it glitches and that message will pop up.
My computer has Windows XP..
Thanks for the input everyone. Much appreciated.

If it were me I'd...

Try uploading one photo at a time, until I found the one photo that causes the problem.

Maybe try resizing them? 3 MB seems a bit much...

I always resize mine to around 800px on the long end for uploading. A free program like Irfanview is great for this and you can also install a plugin where you can set the file size to say 200kb for your resized image.

I've been trying to upload photos for a few days now, and am getting frustrated at this. Tried using firefox and IE on a Windows XP machine, and tried firefox on a Windows 7 machine as well. I tried both the batch uploader and the single uploader.

My filesizes are about 500kb resized to 1000px on the longest edge.

I get the same message as giverhard had with the batch uploader, and with the single file upload I get a weird debug message that implies a disk is full.

Any suggestions?

Is it still failing for you? I cleared some added space on the HDD by removing some backups. I just tried one and seems fine on FF.

I should probably ask... Are you using the single upload or the multi upload?

I was trying both the batch and single uploader. Both were giving me problems.

I just uploaded some with the batch uploader, and it worked fine. Thanks for fixing that!
