Looking for something to hike that isn't snow covered we headed down to Washington.

From Vancouver via the I-5, we took exit 250. Heading south on SR 11 20Km to 100m before the 10 mile marker. Parking is on the paved shoulder, the trailhead is the same as the Pacific Northwest trailhead.

Follow the the Pacific Northwest trail gaining elevation, and passing a bench

to the Samish way connection (left fork).

Continue to follow the well defined trail to the junction between the bat caves and talus trail.

The bat caves (the left fork) are a sensitive area, and hikers are advised to avoid contaminating it.

The talus trail continues to gain elevation to the lily lake junction, follow the left fork for the summit of the oyster dome.

This is an extremely well marked and maintained trail, which has a lot of traffic. Round trip 10.5km with 588m of elevation gain to the summit of 617m, approximately 3hrs.

very nice. I did this area a few years ago and it is definitely a change of scenery from the usual spots around the lower mainland.
