Here is another video of my day climbing grillmair chimneys on Mt.Yamnuska.

It is a classic route, though not very hard, out of the 5 routes i've climbed on the mountain so far,i think this one is the coolest mainly because of the last pitch.

You squeeze climb your way up into a cave and then climb out a small hole and onto the top of the mountain like a dirty troll.

Here she is:

The final chimney is awesome but it's so polished that I swore I saw my reflection in the wall when I climbed it.

Did you climb the Calgary route? I heard it's pretty nasty but I'd love to try it!

spicy- i have read that it is pretty polished, but i didn't find it too bad myself...maybe i was so busy climbing that i didn't notice.

haven't done calgary route yet,but i do here that it is a squeeze fest.

i watched your video before i went up,so i had an idea of what the route was like.

Yep, it's me. That was a good day, though must admit that the walk down and out pretty much kicked the crap out of me. I think I still owe you some photos. I'll email you.

Good job on the video! What time of year did you do the climb? I did that one in mid May and the last pitch was super icy.
