Hey,
Watch out! Please don't be last on the chair lifts on Grouse, Cypress or Seymour. :-)

I actually quite liked it, maybe because I could relate (have been stranded on chairs/in gondolas 4 times in my life, the longest being in a cold Tremblant Gondola for nearly 8 hours).

For me it worked as a slightly campy horror flick. Recommended!

So bad... so so bad.

It's not gory, scary, tense or psychological. So ticks none of the usual horror boxes. It just plods along then ends.

You want to watch a semi decent horror set in the snow and mountains then watch:

Dead Snow: Nazi Zombies attacking Tourons up a mountain. Can't go wrong really.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1278340/

or for a laugh...

Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale

When I worked at the St-Sauveur Resort in quebec, in the summer they used the chair for the water park and people would get out of the chair midway, so the years before I started, someone was to afraid of getting up while the guys at the chair was probably peeing in the bush so she didn't get out and also somehow didn't trigger the plug. So it was the end of the day and no one knew someone pas the mid way. so the women pass the night in her bathing suite. If I recall correctly she jump off at one point but don't remember the full story. After that they started doing the full tour of empty chair before closing

Oh thats gotta suck. At least it only goes to 1000m, couldn't have been too cold, but still, what a shitty place to spend a night if not prepared. Musta been hungry, thirsty and cold.

This movie has been haunting me ever since I watched it. I find the sight of an idle chairlift on a closed hill creepy, and now I know why. And just when my friends are mocking me for my fears.... Whistler. It's scary because it is plausible. But we check our lines once they are idle, what's Whistler's excuse?

You should have a look at the ski lift at the Forbidden Plateau ski hill, that has been closed for maybe 20 years. I would love to place a skeleton wearing skis on one of the windblown chairs.

That would be good. It certainly can be a creepy place.

That's amazing. How long have those chairs been hanging there? If I ever make it to the island I'll definitely check it out.

Just finished watching the movie, I thought it was a good movie, it didn't need a lot of budget. It kept me in suspense the entire movie. 1000x better than blair witch.

I recommend it to those with strong stomachs, not that bad in the gore score.
