Was wondering if anyone has been up Nahahi and the conditions. Will Prairie Creek be all snowed in with all the shade there? Was on Prairie Mtn. in April and it was like summer but things have sure changed since then. Powderface ridge will probably have lots of snow on the east side.

A friend of mine was up there recently, saw pictures on facebook. Don't know the details but didn't look like they had any trouble with snow. They certainly made it all the way up to the ridge and along the ridge a long way.

*NIhahi* Ridge was pretty passable a couple weeks ago. But the snow on Sunday dumped a LOT in the elbow valley.
I was just on the Fullerton Loop on Saturday, and we had probably six inches of snow at the top (~1400m). I suspect Nihahi got quite a bit. So it's really a question of melt since then.

Hey Ger, see my post on the Alberta Conditions thread if you're still wondering about the ridge. It was in poor condition on Saturday, and needs a few warm, dry days to clear before you'll be able to romp along it again. I posted a few pictures here:

although none of them really show the state of the ridge proper; the very southernmost end was OK, but it got a lot worse a few metres along.
