On Thursday (May 13, 2010) Night after work I headed up to Dam Mountain. I arrived at Grouse Mountain and took the Skyride up to the lodge. I headed up to the trail head near the Grizzly Bear habitat. From here on it was time for my slush shoes I mean snow shoes haha. The snow was terrible but easier to manage with the snow shoes. I got to the top of Dam Mountain just in time for the sun to start setting and was treated to a great view! Just remember that the last tram down is at 10pm sharp!!! With the snow the way it was you had to slide down the hills on your but as they were far too slippery! Good thing that’s allot of fun!

There is still lots of snow. They have plowed the snow all the way to the Grizzly den so that the tourists can get there easly. From the trail head on its pretty good. The small section of service road you head up may not have snow much longer though. None of the snow is new though is its pretty beaten up with tracks

I have been looking forward to trying the trip that starts at Grouse and ends at Lynne Headwaters park or the other way around depending on the person
