 Google Earth: How do you split a path?

I cannot figure this one out. How do you split a path (also called track in GPS devices)?
If that is not possible the next best thing for me would be to know how to delete several points at the same time.

Probably not the answer you're looking for, but I'd go back to the original GPS file, load it into a mapping program like MapSource, and edit the track from there.

Not sure if there is a way to do it in GE itself, since the GE tracks I work with appear to be one file that you can't break apart (then again, I've never tried...)

Thanks Ryan! I am trying to avoid the extra step (MapSource). It is possible to edit paths in Google Earth but only one point at a time. I am not sure whether multiple point selection is disabled so people upgrade to GE Pro, go crazy or waste time googling the problem.
