Seems like eons ago now, but here are my photos from a last-minute trip to Skyline Divide in mid-November last year.
Drove about half-way up unploughed Dead Horse Road before the snow stopped our 4wd/HC vehicles. Couple hours of skinning got us to the actual trailhead, and another hour and half saw us into the alpine. Couple more hours of yo-yoing in great snow - a new line every run.
Beautiful, crisp day. About 1.5 metres of dry powder. Met a few other parties - all from Canada. Plenty of room for everyone.

This was back when I was much more optimistic about the ski season on the Coast, and before I got distracted by other winter pursuits... |
