I got a new LG Neon cell phone which I am very pleased about. I was at Tim Hortons the other day and thought I'd see if I could browse the CT website with my cellphone internet access.
When I visit the mainpage for Clubtread I get an out of memory error, however If I visit the other pages they load fine (example active topics). When I go to log in it doesn't work, there is no username and password boxes.
Is anyone else here having problems trying to login remotely via cell? |

Rogers coverage blows outside of the city - Aces lives in Hope.
AFAIK Telus just upgraded Hope to 4G?
And why does "Out of memory" have ANYTHING to do with the network? It's the phone, Rogers/Telus/Bell/whatever has nothing to do with it. |

I am going to assume that CT is not WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) or WML compatible? I did a test here: http://validator.w3.org/mobile/ As well as a few others, which failed.
Did you guys ever consider implementing WAP for CT? It is my understanding that those using their handheld phone device are browsing in regular browsing mode and not trying to view the page in WAP (Which is free for my phone). |

Huh, I wonder when Rogers finally showed up in Hope. Generally they only care about the larger cities.
CT WAP - Not very likely. WAP is a dying protocol, everything is going to full browsers on smart phones. Plus Jim has a huge list of other things he wants me to build that are a lot cooler than WAP |

CT doesn't display well on my new HTC Legend, Android phone. Any chance on having CT recognizing a mobile browser? |
