I did this hike during my lunch break today it was nice.
The trail was nice, lots of steap switch backs, some slick too, bring your poles! Seen a few hikers, told a couple to visit CT :). Lots of benches along the way, which was nice too. I was hoping to see some bear action, but none avail.
I did however have to put my hand on my BFK for a split second when coming around a tree I came upon what appeared as an Anaconda out the corner of my eye. *Phew* just a rope, pretty heavy duty too.
Proof I made it to the finish line:
Reaching the view area, in a boulder field there is 2 benches overlooking the beautiful town of Hope, and mountains surrounding. A nice place to admire the views. Views towards Hope and Kawkawa Lake:

| Great job Aces! That's one of my favorite trails for a workout and view. I heard from a friend in Hope that there was going to be a race to the top a few weeks back. Just so you know, I have been going up the Hope Lookout Trail for yrs and not once come across a wild animal nor bear scat. I have however seen pikkas at the top and one very shy chipmunk. |

| Yes it is a nice one, coming down is almost a jog down. Hard to walk slow coming down. |
