If it is not bad enough that I have the odd humming bird zoom around my front room (and scare the carp out of me) or have a bear trying to pry open my BBQ , NOW the thieves are back !!! I came home from work and the neighbours were waiting for me with smiling , laughing faces , to inform me there were three crooks on my back deck . They had been there since 2 pm. What the hell ???? So what do I find . The Guilty ones scattered off the deck. Now I want you to know I lost a ton of plants due to our crappy winter but this is an outrage !!!!! They see how ticked I am and saunter off 10 feet away and try to hide in the trees. Well let me tell you I grabbed the camera and just so you know sunshine I have your picture AND your accomplices . I will be turning these over to the authorities. Oh just so you know I live about a 15 minute walk from Newport Village. So this is not REAL wilderness or so I thought.
... Yes run but you can't hide, I know where you three live ! |

Funny I was just thinking the same thing. I wonder if I could fit one or two in the back of my CRV ? Or maybe I could convince the coyote that hangs out around here to get a few of his buddies. After all they HAVE to taste better than cat ! |

| That's like putting out sunflower seeds and complaining about the birds eating them. |

You don't go by Prairie farm rules out there that is quite obvious------out here if you feed it you get to eat it
just need to fire up the BBQ |

Rob , I do have a cool new BBQ sauce but sometimes you just have to stop and smell the flowers. I also think the kids next door would be upset if I was to shoot bambi Then again I was only 5 feet away so maybe a quick jump and a sharp knife ... Naw !!! I'm too much a suck . |

That reminds me of the time I just about got creamed by a caribou north of Churchill, Mb while guiding caribou hunters---story for another time I think

Nice shots!
Before clicking and reading, I was excited assuming you captured some thieves at a trailhead. Either way it was a good outcome. |
