Hi everyone! I joined this site hoping to find people in the Coquitlam/Poco/Maple Ridge area to go hiking with. I'm a newbie hiker ( have only went a few times ) but am looking to meet new people and get outside and enjoy the outdoors! Hopefully we can start a hiking group for the lower mainland. Let me know if anyone is interested! :) |

Welcome to CT Snoopy! Hopefully you will watch the sign-up board and join a hike or two to meet people here on CT. There are already official hiking clubs in your area like Ridge Meadows Outdoor Club and and Valley Outdoor Association to name just a few. Not sure if you'll have much success trying to start a new club if that's what you mean by starting a hiking group for the lower mainland.
Cheers!
BTW, this should have been posted under the "seeking hiking partners" thread, not under trip reports. |

Ahh, thank-you! I didn't mean I wanted to start a new hiking group, just wanted to see if there were any groups already in my area. I will definitely look into it! Thanks for the reply. :) |
