Laid back and fun 25 F seeking hiking partners for longer weekday or weekend hikes, or shorter evening after-work hikes. My schedule is flexible as I am taking a break from work over the summer and taking a course by correspondence.

I have a good cardio base but will need to start out on some easier hikes. I want to work up to some of the longer and more difficult ones for later this season. As long as you are okay with taking short rest stops every now and again, I will have no problem keeping up.

I have a car and don't mind driving. I am flexible and open to any suggestions since I don't know many of the trails. Willing to travel a bit further and camp overnight eventually if we enjoy each others' company. I prefer smaller groups, no larger than 4 and actually prefer going as a pair.

Reply so we can get off of here and start hitting the trails pronto!

hey I'd love to get on this as well, 27 yr old female. Haven't hiked in a while but have slowly started to get into it again. Did Diez Vista last weekend, and would love to squeeze a few more this season.

I'd love to get up to do the entire Diez Vistas...I'm away this coming week, but back the week of June 13 or 14.

So...anyone interested in a hike this Saturday, July 18th.

I don't think I have the ability to do the Lindsay Lake Loop quite yet, but I'd like to try and see where I can get to on the Halvor Lunden Trail (Of which the loop is a part). I'll probably head past the first lookout and check out the second "White Rock" lookout and then do a loop around St Mary's, Mac and Jay Lakes before heading back.

This will all depend on how I feel, but I'm planning for 5-6 hours and a 9:00am start time.

This trail begins at Buntzen Lake, just like Diez Vistas, but on the east side.

Send me an email or post.

-Mark

***UPDATE I'll be away until Friday evening and will check back then to see if any more interest has developed. If it has, the hike is a go; if not, I'll be making other plans. Happy hiking!

I'm interested for this Saturday the 18th @ Buntzen/Halvor Lunden - but am hoping at least one additional person will confirm soon as I have to rearrange another commitment.......
Weather is looking fabulous that day.

Shame I have to work..
But I managed to get to the loop junction but had to head back because of time.
As I only had 5:30 to 9pm to complete the task during the weekday.

I enjoyed it and wish to return and actually complete the loop with the views.

Wish you luck
