It was a gorgeous morning, and I figured I'd go for a walk along the trails around sproat lake.

First I put my money in the advanced looking parking machine.

See my loonie stuck in there? (For evidence in case of ticket)

Beginning the trail:

Views of the Martin Mars Water Bombers parked.

Approaching the bridge to access / view the petrogplyphs

The petroglyphs looked incredible.

View of Sproat Lake on a gorgeous hot day:

Then finally when approaching the parking lot, some guy put his knife into the keychange slot on the parking machine, and I heard about 10$+ or more change go through. It seems a bunch of folks had their change stuck in there

Another 1 hour well spent!!!

Cool petroglyph shots!

I saw some great petroglyphs on Gabriola Island years ago, that were a little less stylized but contained what can only be described as a Cadborosaurus flying over some distressed villagers.
