Went for a quick Sunday outing with the girlfriend and baby. Just a little heads up for anybody planning on heading that way in the next week or two:
Did about 5km of Skagit River from the Sumallo Grove parking lot. Trail flooded for about 50m at 1km into the trail. About 20cm deep at the worst, I suggest going barefoot instead of bushwacking. Same thing at Delacey camp, but it goes to about 40cm deep. (Campsite itself is not flooded, just about 20m of trail.)
Other than that the trail is in excellent condition.
Waterfall at the mine adit, and Twenty-six Mile Creek, were both very swollen.
Sorry, no pictures. |
