I went with my climber friends back in Feb to Redrocks in Nevada.
I spend a couple of days climbing in this incredible area.
And of course scrambled up to the top of the Redrocks while waiting for ropes to free up.

It was great fun.

On the last day we went canyoneering (easy trip) in Valley of Fire.A must see for anyone...
We began walking at the entrance of Valley of Fire and went to the end where the water hole is...and continued into the canyon from there....out the other side

Approx 4-5hrs.

Here are the pictures.

Great pictures! Good job!
There`s so much more of Redrocks that I want to explore. did you see any wild burros? at either park?
I will get out to Redrocks later on this late fall.
Remember the little canyon full of redrock that you discovered, when scrambling up at Valley of Fire? I went back in there and found it to be amazing!! I stopped at the edge and decided to save it in case you ever came back down this way. If not, I will go and explore it in a couple years. It`s not going anywhere...hehe
Sounds like you had a fun time with your group. Great!!
Can`t wait to see more!
Cheers! jerry
