2 snowboarders set of an avalanche on Brohm Ridge on Friday. We saw the aftermath. This slope faces west and I dug a pit which revealed the 80 cm they have received this week and I got a serious layer with three light taps. The slab they kicked off was not as deep about 35 cms.

Definitely a rotten hoar frost layer from the last two weeks of sun. Be careful out there...

We say multiple (old) naturals on this layer at Sproatt yesterday on NW facing slopes around 1700m. We played it safe down lower and had a great day.

Thanks for sharing. Saw a lot from the recent cycle on Vantage/Cerise yesterday.
