There has been several inquiries on what brand I use. These are in very early testing stages, so I cannot give them a proper evaluation yet.But so far they have performed well and have stayed on, even in deep snow on an active dog.

We were on the fence re: Neoprene or Leather and in the end chose leather.

Let us know how the Neoprene works for you AT.

My guy wears Ruff Wear Grip Trex boots. They are breathable and great in the snow, water... well pretty much anywhere! The best part is they have a Vibram sole with grips on the bottom for excellent traction, and my local shoe repair place said they can eventually be resoled.

These stay on amazingly well - they're low profile and the cinch strap goes all the way around the ankle - they stayed on when my guy was in a flat out run through the forest in 2 foot deep snow.

And if your dog has sensitive tootsies, you can actually get compatible sock liners for the boots. :-D

Here's the link: http://www.ruffwear.com/Barkn-Boots-Grip-Trex

Natural Plus Pets on Marine and Pemberton in North Van is where I picked mine up.

Cheers!
