Hey 'monster', having said that what I said , garglegobblegarglegobble ,, blows my mind in spring and hot hot summer walking into Wendys or A&W or
Macdonalds or Timmys and observing hordes of autos idling @ drive-thru
waiting for Hot-fries all the while they are cooking the planet into one giant cheese-melt with their stinking cars. Yeah, what's that exclamation? ' non sequitur '. The economy rolls on.

Maybe deniers DO spends as much time researching as advocates. The difference being that if you spent that much time researching the topic of climate change, you'd run into so much scientific empirical knowledge that has held up under decades of scrutiny, that you'd be hard pressed to come to any conclusion other than the fact that we as human beings are having an impact on the global environment. The problem is that, in my belief, the deniers doing the research are going in not to find the truth, but with preconceived notions of the truth they WANT to find... and then they take those tiny nuggets, and write their papers which are published nowhere but partisan magazines such as the one in this thread, since they do not meet the scientific standards of any real magazine. And then? They become source research for other deniers down the road, so now they don't have to look at anything BUT this filtered partisan propaganda to say they've "researched" the topic.

Research is not research if you're not willing to be exposed to the other side of the debate. It's like if I asked you to count how many roses and daisies were in a gymnasium, and you covered your eyes and run through the daisies screaming "there are only roses!!!!!" until you reached the other side of the room and the roses, counted them, and reported that there were forty roses and zero daises.
