I want to head up there saturday to sunday but I hear the weather may not be that great... The plan would be to go super early saturday morning and set up camp at the lake. Then have lunch and summit mt macfarlane late afternoon. We would head out early sunday morning. Any takers?

BCTV was calling for thunderstorms on Saturday...but we all know how "accurate" the weatherman can be!

Yea I noticed that, but my general rule of thumb with long range forecasts is that weather forecasted 3-4 days away can be brought forward by one day. So in theory, the rain/thunderstorms will hit friday!

the forecast is changing, but not for the better! theweathernetwork.com and weatheroffice.ca both give conflicting reports. One says rain friday, saturday and the other says rain saturday, sunday. I will continue to monitor the weather and make a final decision tomorrow.
