Another report from AndyT.

Skied and climbed Baker ascend 8000 feet, had to park about 35 minutes from the usual parking lot. One of my favorite trips, now a tradition to it once a year if not more like a great snow year like this. You can skin up the road to the lot, from here I tried a different route than taking the summer route, Jiri told me about. You head straight to the NW slopes and skin and boot pack up a chute to open slopes. Then traverse to the standard route. hard at first but once you are on the glacier you can take the standard route, we actually skinned all the way up the headwall to the summitt. The great thing about skiing up, is you can be done in a hour to the parking lot, The mountain is in prime condition right now for corn skiing.

This is different. I would have never thought. Cool pics.
Is one of those peaks Bakers' summit? Ascend 8000 ft. so descend 8000 ft. plus to parking lot in an hour. Wow, that is some kind of shortcut.
