It started to rain when I got off the bus. It poured as I went past Rice Lake (and a couple of people eyed my umbrella jealously). But it stopped shortly after I took the Lynn Peak turnoff, and a couple of times up there I actually saw my shadow.

First viewpoint; some big trees along the trail:

Second viewpoint (this is as far as I went):

The snow sets in in earnest past the second viewpoint. Can anyone tell me the elevation here? I wouldn't mind knowing how high I got.

Lynn Creek at the bridge and further down (water levels impressive):

Still some snow at the top. Up to 4 feet in places. Someone remind me what the date is!?

Bumped into a couple of GVRD Parks guys and their chainsaw at the final lookout. They're about to start clearing all the windfall from the trail.
