Does anyone know the approximate kilometer marker of the wilderness campsite north of the Pachena lighthouse. Also might be nice to know if it's on the water front or not. Last time we made a mad dash all the way from Tsusiat Falls to the Bamfield trailhead in one day without even slowing down to see where it was. This time we might be spending our last night there so would be nice to have an idea where it's at. Thanks.

when I did the WCT last year, I don't remember any "on water" access north of Pachena until you reach the "big stairs" which is somewhere about km 2. A "wilderness campsite" isn't something I remember.

I recall a few clearings that may be suitable for camping, maybe even a few used as such, but nothing outstanding. Plus there is a side trail about a half k west of the lighthouse that leads to a viewpoint (very worthwhile), but no water access (it's about 30m above cliffs). No room to camp, as I recall. This stretch is so easy and so close to the trailhead there isn't much call to camp here, I imagine.
