Not your hard core, kick ass, sweat till you hair bleeds, kind of trip but hey it was +30 out in the valley and I made a pig of myself at dinner last night
I haven't been to Minter gardens for 25 years so I figured it was time to check out the spring flowers.
First a quick stop at Bridal Veil Falls. The hike up was brutal I got out of there just as a tour bus came in, take about good timing! Then is was across the road after checking out Dino Town
I didn’t know Anita & Fernando had their own restaurant ? Okay so here is where I take you down the garden path I had to get down low to pick up the sun inside the flowers. A few stopped and wondered what the hell I was doing on the ground until I hit the playback button. Then all these old people were down on hands & knees.... talk about funny ! Back to the path; |

Nice. This is such a beautiful place.
Have not been to visit Minter Gardens for all the years I have been in the area. This I got to check out. Have been to the falls twice, once right up to the base where the water splashes yo all over.

| Beautiful photos. I'd never heard of the place and was thinking I'd missed something major in Port Moody, but google tells me it's not on a bus route, so I'm excused and shall have to enjoy it vicariously. |

Thanks for the walk in the park style report :) I plan on going there in another months time.
How much $ is it to enter that park? $28 I heard... |

Cost was $15 per person. I also like the way they make you exit by the gift shop Spent another $12 on a cool mushroom book. Oh and if you go, the older English lady has yellow finger nails to match her mustang.... just a bit of trivia |

My daughter had her wedding reception there four years ago. It is a lovely place and my only regret was that I didn't have the time to walk through the gardens.
Is this car still there? |

I didn't see the car but I might have missed it. There is so much to see. The gardens are just starting to bloom so I would expect another month,if we get better weather, and they'll be great!
