Saw this at tetongravity. Simple and seems like it would be loaded with calories. Might have to give it a try.
Bacon Candy Prep: 5 mins Cook: 30 mins Ready in: 35 mins Serves: A herd
Ingredients 1 lb Bacon (not thick-cut) 1/4 cup Brown sugar
Cooking Instructions Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Slice bacon into 1/2 inch strips and dredge in brown sugar until thoroughly coated.
Crumple aluminum foil to allow for grease drainage and place it on a baking sheet. Lay out the bacon on this, making sure not to overlap pieces.
Bake until crispy. Allow to cool and harden before serving. |

| Speaking of kosher - I heard today that a supermarket in New York was briefly advertising a sale on hams as "delicious for Hanukkah". The ad was pulled, and the chain has promised to re-educate it's employees :) |

As Emeril often says... "Pork Fat Rules!!!"
I guess he must know what he's talking about - create a combo with bacon (no matter how gross it sounds), and someone's sure to love it.
What ever happened to Emeril anyhow? He's disappeared off the tube. |

I think is was a combo of that toothpaste commercial, and over use of the "BAM" that inevitably lead to the death of his t.v. career. |
