Thanks to one of LeeL's Links I drooled over some photos on "Turns all year round"
http://www.turns-all-year.com/index.html
What I want to know:
Has anyone from CT (you too Lee) skied the South Ranier Paradise area and what is it like? It seems like a good trip destination for a variety of skiing levels and methods. Any tips on Lodging or Winter Camping?

Sincerely,
To lazy to research tonight

I used to play around up there when I lived in the area. It has been a number of years since I was there last, but I remember it being alot of fun. Lots of terrain, easy hiking to get to some good steep sections. One thing that was abit annoying was the road up to Paradise. There were many times when the road would not be open untill mid day due to snow wich was a bit annoying when we were driving for an hour to get up there. During the spring and summer we could snowboard from Camp Muir to Pebbel Creek area. Im sure this is possible in the winter as well but IIRC you need some good routefinding skills to follow the snowfield in the winter.....
