You know that by using capital letters it means you're yelling something at him, right?

No no I wasn't meening to yell at anyone nor did I want to say for sure it was photoshopped or digitally modified. With the photos I've seen and dealt with on a regular basis it simply raised my eyebrow to ask if it was at least saved in picaso or photoshop before being uploaded... Even if it was saved first it is still nice!

Great photography regardless! Many photographers still do some minor digital editing / saving before their final.

Yes indeed, it went through Photoshop for a little editing. I don't have the choice to edit all photos with Photoshop since I shoot in RAW mode. For those who know what RAW is, you also know that it is the photographer who chooses white balance, color brightness, contrast, etc... instead of the camera.

If you wish to compare, here is the original shot, without any modifications, and the default values for all RAW parameters:

As for the trip report, it is coming... I'll post it probably tomorrow...

Oh, and I should add that I use a polarizing filter, which greatly helps with color saturation. That explains the blue sky...

Russ... I don't think that Aces was making a "snap judgement"... He sounds genuinely "curious" to me...

Besides, when I visited Martin's homepage I was presented with a blank, white, sheet... Is your site down, Martin, or is it my stupid Firewall blocking it ???

And a further "besides"... Martin admitted to using Photoshop... No big deal... I shoot in RAW (No, I'm not shouting Snowseeker)... and I use Photoshop too...

Great pic, Martin... I thought that you might have used polorizing glass... please show us more...

C'Jack...
