FYI: Hwy 66 east of Bragg Creek is glare ice after Elbow Falls when it starts inclining. It covers the whole road in some places and is very dangerous to attempt. Zero traction.

Adds new meaning to the phrase "Get your kicks on Route 66". If I remember that is a long slow hill coming into Bragg Creek . Yes that would put a knot in your shorts. I was out dodging trees as we have a big wind storm here.

Thanks Flagstaff. Probably has to do with the high winds we had here today. Fun trying to keep everything in my own lane on the Deerfoot today dodging cardboard boxes and driving thru the dirty thirties style dust storm adjacent to the new development south of 22x.
Yeah no prob. I did Moose Mountain today but only made it up to the first peak on the trail. The winds were whipping up snow from every direction. Check out the video I made. lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71SJzqFtjwg
Driving back down the Moose Mountain road was interesting. 2 trees were downed on the road and the forest was a deadfall graveyard. The parks people had already began to clear the road.
We were snow shoeing the Prairie Creek trail and link and I was surprised to see so much tree fall in that whole area this winter. I think we have had a few good wind storms out there it seems.
