Is there an instant messaging function on the forum as indicated in the forum rules;
5 "Restrain from turning threads into glorified instant messages. Take it to email or IM!"
...if so I can't find it, or did it get turfed due to abuse. Good public forum anyway, although I miss the Proboards spell check button. Thanks. |

No, it just means that people shouldn't start little conversations inside threads. Back and forth discussions are encouraged via email.
For example.
User #1 - You suck
User #2 - No, you suck
User #1 - Your TRs are horse shit.
User #2 - Go climb Mt. Seymour

There isn't an IM function. It was more so people would be encouraged to use MSN, etc.
You can send onsite emails, but that's about it at this point in time.
If you are using newer versions of Mozilla and IE, spell checking is part of the browser. |
