You can now download and upload GPS waypoints, tracks and routes with the trail wiki!
Named waypoints are always shown on the page for viewing. You can also click the "Download waypoints" link to download them in GPX format to be used directly in your GPS.
The process of uploading is very simple. Simply look up a trail or route that you would like to add data for, and click the "Upload waypoints" link at the bottom. The preferred file formats are GPX, Garmin MapSource (gdb), and Magellan MapSend (wpt).

We hope this feature will help make the trail wiki even more useful for the community! Happy navigating!

Bump! Its a real easy process to upload waypoints. If everyone uploads just a few we'd have quite a community collection. Eric and a couple others have uploaded quite a few already. We need your help to make it more complete and valuable for all... |

| How do you upload and download tracks? I only see waypoints but not tracks? |
