What is the distance along the road from the bottom to the trailhead, 15km or something like that? One of my hiking plans was to climb Mcguire the "honest" way and start from the Slesse bridge. If I want to keep my annual Mcguire streak going, it looks like I'll get the chance. Great work, hope you recover quickly.

You're nuts, Wildman. All that logging road walking! Nuts... or really determined!

Lots of practise from vehicle brake downs over the years well going to trail heads or coming back.
