Made it up to Greater Slollicum Lake on Saturday. Parts of the trail/road are almost grown in. Carry an axe or machetti or you may lose your glasses when that alder whip hits you in the face. Streams have undercut the road in a few places. These are pit traps. I almost made it to the bottom of one. The trail disappears at the end of the road. Stay out of the peat bogs, cross to the west side of the creek, and look for a few orange ribbons on a faint trail leading to the Lake. Beautiful, pristine, heavenly. Did not want to leave. Makes for a long day. The lake is three quarters open, snow sits a meter deep under the trees and in the open. Check my message in the gatorade bottle in the campsite.
I would like to join a group going to go to Little Slollicum Lake and to Blinch Lake in July and August |

| Sounds like a beautiful spot but a little tricky to get to. Did you get any pic's?. Ref going to Little Slollicum Lake and Blinch Lake you could also post under "Seeking hiking partners" or if you would like to organize a trip there "Sign up Board/Events". Hope to see you on the trails and welcome to CT |

| Did not get the digital camera for Father's Day. Still using film camera. Birthday is coming up soon. Already posted trips on partners wanted. If there are no responses, I will organize these trips myself. Thanks for the welcome |
