Grace and I had a great time. We learned basic mountaineering techniques such as scramble, ice axe/crampon use, self-arrests, snow travel skills, rope handling, hazard assessment during 3 days, We scrambled up a peak then came down from its steep snow gully. We found those techniques can even be used in our hiking/scrambling trips either, it will make us more safer-:) I still need practice to refresh what I learned.

I find that hiker/mountaineer community is one of the most friendly communities
