| Strange coincidence. I pulled out my 'scrambles' by Matt Gunn book just today. It's like my bible now. Shame on me for not looking at it for the last 4 months...lol...wonder why. Anyway, it would have a lot of ideas for you. I suggest you purchase a copy and support the work he put in to it. |

Is it specific to SWBC or does it cover a larger area. Where would I find it, MEC? I notice thay don't have a section on books on there website.
Thanks |

I think Brandywine mountain is a pretty good starter. Not too difficult with great views. I drove to the trailhead last year in my '89 K car, so most vehicles should be able to make it (Note: I think there's an alternate 4wd approach -- obviously you don't want to go that way in a 2wd).
But like burnabyhiker said, pick up a copy of Matt Gunn's scrambles book. It'll give you lots of ideas.

| Locomotive, Weart, Castle Towers (West summit), Price, Black Tusk, Overlord, Marriott, Vantage are all moderate scrambles, very rewarding and easily accessed by 2WD. |
