I almost turned back at the sight of the trailhead
but fortunately there was a faint trail 100m further down the road that skirted the flooding. The rest of the trail was mostly dry and in reasonably good shape.

| Is that the trailhead at the Hwy. 3 end? I did the hike a couple weeks ago but started from the turnoff just before the big bend in the road (if you are headed east). It was gated, but there is a big parking lot there. I saw no flooding at all... |

When you start with a tough challenge like that at the TH and still go on with the trek, Wow! Way to stick it out! Nice to see the flowers out! "Oh, to be in England; now that spring is there... |

Other end... south trailhead accessed via Silver Skagit Road. The north end was clear as was most of the trail.

Yes, Delacey was dry, but looked like it had flooded not long ago. There were a few people camped about 50m north of that area where the ground was a bit higher. |

| the creek was only 5-6' wide and 1' deep a couple weeks ago, we crosed it right at the trailhead over some stumps and fallen branches. looks a little worse now :D |
