| How about adding a Sticky to the "Gotta Love Gear" section advising posters and those searching advice to go to the Gear Wiki before starting a new thread? |

ClubTread's power is it's community - most gear reviews tend to be biased due to the nature of how people contribute to them. It also does not have guides on assisting people in finding the right gear for themselves - it just lists what's good and what's bad.
Pushing people away from the community only causes the site to be faceless and unfriendly. |

Its a balance in my opinion. I think the gear wiki will get better over time. There will be biased feedback on all sides - and that's what I'm looking to read. I will go through the various comments and make my own assessment. Also, as the number of reviews for a particular item increases, it will naturally average out to a somewhat realistic rating. (The ratings are a summation of all the reviews for the product.)
I'm happy with how the wiki has been going so far - and the more info in it, the more useful it is for the community.
To address the guides, I think those are more appropriate perhaps starting out as forum posts and then becoming articles. In reality, that info in itself could be a wiki as well.
