I am looking at possibly hiking part of this trail next year and was wondering if anyone has done this trail or parts of this trail. I will only have 1 month so I can't do all of it. Most likely I would be hiking the northern part from Oregon up to Canada? Any knowledge would be helpful. Thanks |

Hi there. One of the best places for info for the PCT is some active journals or on the forums at trailjournals.com.. One of my favorite journals besides Yogi's is Suge (Chris Willet). Check it out if you want and re-live his PCT2003 thru-hike. http://www.pierce.ctc.edu/faculty/cwillet/thru.html click on PCT 2003.
Should be lots of good info at trailjournals also.. I was hoping to try a thru-hike on the PCT for 2007 but not in the cards yet.. Maybe 2008 or 2009.... Dave |
