What a fantastic wind free sunny day to go up Elk again. Trail conditions were a little slippery in sections but overall good. We only had to crawl over a couple trees We were on the mountain for 4 hours before meeting someone on the trail (it was nice to have it all to ourselves).

Very Nice. I guess with less traffic the ice hazard is not as bad at this time since there is less melt as well.

You certainly have been busy over the last few days.

We did have to put crampons on near the top (forgot to mention) but the trail was surprisingly good I like hiking every sunny day and sometimes even on a rainy day if I haven't had my fix for a while
