| Has anyone snowshoed to Rainbow Lake near Whistler in previous years? If so, how was it? Was the trail hard to follow? I am thinking about going this weekend (Nov 18) but I want to make sure the conditions will be alright. Does anyone know of a website that has conditions for this trail? |

| The RMOW removes a bridge over one of the crossings. You would need to wait until there is more greater snowfall and freezing to facilitate the crossing. |

| If you head about 50m upstream of the removed bridge, there is a flat enough spot that you can cross if the creek isn't raging too hard. |

Check the alpine forcast at whistler blackcomb.com Wi the storm that came through it rained quite high and the freezing level has dropped. More snow would be ideal. I know Blackfly says you can find a creek crossing but it can be tricky early season with ice on the rocks etc. Garibaldi Lake would be a better choice until we get a larger snow pack which will be here soon we hope! |
