i have tried to put some pics in webshot...i have encountered a problem i can't fix...cause i can't email them..i am unfortuntly a free client...
when i try to view my pics in slideshow it shows a huge ugly image of an HP laptop..and i can't seem to get rid of the image...
can anyone help me..?...i have tried different things and preferences also..but nothing.
it seems to be(i think) coming from my HP printer, i have used this program to edit my pics....i noticed one other person on Webshots had her shots in a Canon camera image..
but if anyone has a suggestion on how to get rid of this image, or if they have encountered this problem, let me know please. thanx

Not quite sure what your problem is.
Maybe their "FREE" server is temporarily offline...or you upload an unknown type of picture format...it's hard to tell without being able to see the problem firsthand!
Can you post a link to the page where the problem occurs?

| I had that problem once, and solved it by deleting the album, then redoing it, uploading one pic at a time instead of many. After you upload one pic, test to see the slideshow function is working before you add more to the album |

I can view your pic album, but not your slideshow, Oriana. Same issue I had.

Just got your p.m. Oriana. I don't know where you got the laptop display as mine is the same as your second link. Just the picture and that is all. Did you sign up for a "free' account ?
On my options (webshots desktop)on my computer I have;
the disply set to full screen but that should not have any bearing on what you see on webshots.
As Micksaid you may have to delet the album and start again. I set the resolution at 800x600 or maybe 1240x 1024 and upload one at a time. It takes a bit longer but then I can be sure nothing gets lost or corrupted.

thanx guys..i think i am going to get Flickr..i really like the set up and no advertisments...i really like seawallrunners set up...
i did try to redownload the webshot onto my computer..have tried various things..installing just one pic at a time..and different pics i have in my computer..but i still get the same thing..
i found out by clicking on "contacts"..u can see the offers given by "cnet"..and one of them is the HP..so they advertise their stuff..still not sure why some people get the image and others don't...but for the headache i am having trying to figure it out..i would rather pay 24 dollars a year and get a good problem free pic site..(i hope flickr doesn't disappoint me )
