Hey everyone! I find doing cardio at my gym to be rather borrrringggg...so I am looking for people who'd like to get out on the weekdays. What do we do? Anything we are in the mood for ie. trail running, trail galloping(geobeck's trademark), trail hopping, snow shoeing, or just a fast walk/hike. I am in fairly good shape; I'd like to get into better shape. If any of you are just getting in the game and would like to meet a new friend, that'd be great as well. Welcome all .

Awesome! I don't really care what we do or where we go, I just want to get out . I'll pm you.

Just received another email. Let's, "Do the Lite thing!" ~ Geobeck.
I wouldn't mind trading in some fat for some muscle. But then I'd just look light but not necessarily weigh light .

You are doing fine, just keep up the hikes as much as you have done this summer. This keeps both mind and body young and fit. Since I took up hiking over the last two years, I don't feel my age at all like I used to. Can not beat the fresh air up there in the mountains, away from the city. I hope you find some good company to join you during the week, missed you on McGuire yesterday.

Thanks Karl! I do need to keep up with cardio during the week considering I do not always watch what I eat . I will continue to hike on Sundays. I missed you guys on Sunday too! Hope to see you and the rest soon. BTW: I know what you mean by hiking keeps you feeling young.

Larry, I already have some interest and we are arranging a time now. I'll pm you.

Hello hikeforhealth, I am a new member to clubtread and I am also new to the lower mainland. I am excited about all the mountain-biking and hiking trails to explore and meeting some fellow nature lovers who enjoy the outdoors. I would like to start with some moderate difficulty trails, nothing too extreme. I am especially interested in finding some trails with old growth forests, I love walking among giants. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi joddles, welcome to Club Tread! Thanks for your interest. Well, a few of us are going to start trail running soon...really soon. We are also looking into doing other activities as well. This is a great chance for you to meet other Club Tread members. Hope you are still interested. It should be fun. BTW: We are starting rather slowly with the trail running.

highly doubt i can make it tomorrow.. maybe monday! i dont roll into surrey till 5 either..

i'd like to suggest green timbers lake park (fraser hwy and 142nd area) as well.. i've ran those trails, to get a decent run in u just have to run 'em 2 or 3 times.. its been awhile since i did it, but a 6 pm start there would suffice..

Run, hike, or walk Thursday morning anyone?? Anytime before 6 pm is good for me. Email me or respond here.

My friend and I will be going for a nice walk that day; if anyone wants to come, let me know.
