I decided to do an overnight-hike-in-camping trip for Saturday. I will be with a friend and my dog so I need a hike that will be good enough for the dog. Seeing on how the recent posts have been for the high falls creek trail in regards to dogs, I cannot take that one. Thoughts so far have been as follows:
Radium Lake (#75 in 103 hikes...) - Looks good. A bit of an elevation but I have a Pitbull/Boxer cross who loves to hike so he should be O.K. Information from anyone!!??
Greendrop lake (#76 in 103...) - So far it looks like the leader. Not to much elevation and sounds good enough. I think you can camp up there. I don't know how busy this trail is though. Anyone know anything about it?
Skagit River - Do I really need to explain. Jim, was it busy when you were there. Are dogs allowed?
Anyone have other ideas? Let me know.

Look into Strike Lake in Manning park, easy, very little or no elevation gain. Check previous post for more info/pictures. :)

I tried the Radium Lake trail last year with my dog, but my dog refused to cross the suspension bridge It's a good trail for a dog, the snow is still likely 1-3 weeks away from being clear however ?

Looks like a good hike. Do you think I could fly fish from shore?

Kodiak, I'd do the Strike Lake one before the Greendrop if I were you. I don't know how well your knees will hold up on the part between Lindeman and Greendrop. Also, there's not a chance in hell I would leave my vehicle at the trailhead this time of year given all the high school parties that are happening up there.
