I thought this was quite funny:

Greening Earth Society

...I wonder what kind of crack someone would need to be on to believe that crap.

Anyway, here's a link that explains who is behind that site:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greening_Earth_Society

And a quote from another site:

"A project of the Western Fuels Association founded to promote the idea that global warming is beneficial to the planet.

A 1988 report by the Clearinghouse on Environmental Advocacy and Research showed how "Greening Earth Society and Western Fuels are essentially the same organization." Both are located at the same office suite in Arlington, VA. They share the same leader, Fred Palmer, several WFA board members serve as the board for GES, and they have the same "manager of communications and governmental affairs," Ned Leonard. Leonard and Palmer are both registered lobbyists for Western Fuels Association. (http://www.clearproject.org/reports_westernfuels.html) GES regularly publishes articles by prominant global warming skeptics."

It's great that when you google them, most of the sites that come up expose their connection to the Western Fuels Association.

Hmm...maybe they pulled the plug on it finally...

Anyway, it has a bunch of articles on how we should be thankful for all the added CO2 levels because plants breath in CO2 in photosyntesis and so the more CO2, the more plants will grow...so greening the earth...

If you google it and look at the cache (it takes a while to load) you'll find some...mostly what's left are just a bunch of skeptic quotes about global warming.

I found this site a long long time ago. I was looking for skeptic articles against global warming...but the more I looked the more I found just bogus, screwed up fronts like this one...where it was so clear they're full of BS that it had the opposite of the intended effect.

Actually, it is true that more CO2 will result in faster plant growth. In the latest chief forester's report on BC climate change it mentions how a longer growing season and slightly increased productivity will nonetheless be offset by drought, new parasites, new diseases and increased forest fires.... to be accurate you can't claim that climate change is all bad or all good, you have to look at everything and tally up both positive and negative consequences.
