Went up to Panorama Ridge today. Was hoping to summit the Ears but the continual cloud cover along the ridge & peak, as well as an unpleasant wind influenced a decision to turn back. Weather lower down was fantastic.
The trail was in good condition until an hour past Alder Flats. Didn't see any snow until the top of Panorama Ridge and it was a tad slushy. Bottom part of the West Canyon trail was also in good shape: little if any mud and the insects weren't a bother either.
