ALPINE RECREATION FORECAST FOR THE SOUTH COAST MOUNTAINS ISSUED BY
ENVIRONMENT CANADA AT 2 PM PST TUESDAY 1 NOVEMBER 2005.
THE NEXT MOUNTAIN FORECAST WILL BE ISSUED AT 5 AM WEDNESDAY.

SYNOPSIS..A COOL AND MOIST ONSHORE FLOW AT UPPER LEVELS WILL BRING
PERIODS OF SNOW TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY.

WHISTLER - BLACKCOMB.
TONIGHT.. FLURRIES. ALPINE TEMPERATURE STEADY NEAR MINUS 4. SNOWFALL
ACCUMULATION TRACE. FREEZING LEVEL SURFACE. MOUNTAIN TOP WINDS
LIGHT AND VARIABLE.
WEDNESDAY..PERIODS OF SNOW. ALPINE HIGH MINUS 2. SNOWFALL
ACCUMULATION 5 TO 10 CM. FREEZING LEVEL SURFACE. MOUNTAIN TOP WINDS
LIGHT AND VARIABLE.

5 DAY TREND.. IN TRUE NOVEMBER FASHION...A SERIES OF PACIFIC
FRONTAL SYSTEMS WILL ENTER THE REGION AND MAINTAIN SNOWY
PRECIPITATION THROUGHOUT THE PERIOD.

THURSDAY.. SNOW. SNOWFALL ACCUMULATION 20 TO 30 CM. FREEZING LEVEL

During a short sucker window today I saw that Fromme, Grouse, Sleeping Beauty and company all had a fresh coat of snow

There was about 5cm fresh wet stuff at the top skyride station this morning.

Glad Im not the only one that saw snow through that sucker window - I know it wasn't cos of all the halloween candy I've been eating (ugh I feel gross today)

Bring it on!!! Let it snow!!!!!!

Yes! Let it snow. The snowshoes are dusted off and the ski cards are bought. I'm excited.
