Hey Jims...

Do we (you) have the technology to add a *Save* or *Draft* button to the Topic-writing window??? (the one I'm in right now)...

For us slow-pokes (dial-up speaking)... It would be great to *Save* what you're writing and go get a glass of wine, spell check or whatever (I'm still steaming after writing a fantastic TR yesterday and losing it due to the inabilty to *Save*...)

Cheers...

Hey CJ, when I'm writing a TR I'll right click on the text and copy it frequently. You can save it to the notepad feature as well, avoiding much stress.

Same here:
In the Window: Control-A, Control-C
In Notepad: Control-V

Long way to mimic Control-S (Save)

Sorry to hear about your TR, CJ

Yup - what they said.

I usually follow these steps:

* upload all my photos

* copy the [ctImg... codes to notepad (or word)

* write the report and spell check

* paste the content back into the browser and hit "Preview" before posting - partially to make sure I have the right text with the photos...

In any event, if the post I've written is of any length, I always copy the content into notepad before posting. I've been burnt before too. Frustration!

Or you can just compose the message in Write and then copy & paste.
